Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Letters
Documentation based on your clinical needs.
An evaluation is a place to discuss your circumstances and ask whether an emotional support animal letter may be clinically appropriate.
Eligibility comes from an evaluation.
Emotional support animal letters may be available to qualifying patients following a clinical evaluation. Eligibility and documentation are determined by the provider based on individual clinical circumstances. An additional fee may apply.
What a letter does—and does not—mean.
An ESA letter is clinical documentation, not a service-animal designation, registration, or certification. It does not guarantee housing approval or travel access. Ask the office about the evaluation process and any additional letter fee before requesting this service.
Questions about letters.
Is an emotional support animal letter guaranteed?
No. Letters are provided only when clinically appropriate following an evaluation. Requesting or paying for an appointment does not guarantee that a letter will be issued.
