Insurance & fees

Clear questions.
Fewer unknowns.

Self-pay psychiatric evaluations are $249 and follow-ups are $149. Contact our office to confirm insurance participation and benefits.

If you plan to use insurance.

Participation varies by plan and may vary by state. Ask the office about your specific plan and where you will be located during care. Your insurer can explain your deductible, copay, coinsurance, and telehealth benefits.

Network participation does not guarantee that every service is covered. Confirm any referral or authorization requirements and ask how you can receive an estimate of your responsibility.

ADHD diagnostic evaluation: separate testing fee.

ADHD evaluation: our practice policy

As part of the ADHD diagnostic evaluation at Radiant Minds Psychiatry, patients are required to complete a QbCheck assessment. The assessment has a separate $250 fee, which is not covered by insurance.

QbCheck results are considered alongside your clinical evaluation and health history. The test alone does not establish an ADHD diagnosis.

This is this practice’s requirement for an ADHD diagnostic evaluation, not a requirement for every psychiatric appointment or every ADHD evaluation elsewhere. The testing fee is additional to appointment fees. If you use insurance for your appointment, your appointment cost depends on your coverage; the self-pay rate does not automatically apply.

Is QbCheck required at this practice for an ADHD diagnostic evaluation?

Yes. Radiant Minds Psychiatry requires QbCheck as part of its ADHD diagnostic evaluation. This is our practice policy; it does not mean every patient receiving psychiatric care needs QbCheck.

What does QbCheck cost?

The QbCheck assessment has a separate $250 fee. Under this practice’s policy, insurance does not cover that testing fee.

Is the testing fee included in the appointment price?

No. The $250 QbCheck fee is additional to appointment fees. Self-pay appointments are $249 for an initial psychiatric evaluation and $149 for a follow-up. If you use insurance for appointments, your appointment costs depend on your coverage.

Does completing QbCheck guarantee an ADHD diagnosis or prescription?

No. Results are considered alongside your clinical evaluation and health history. Completing or paying for the assessment does not guarantee an ADHD diagnosis, medication, or a stimulant prescription.

ESA letters and fees.

Emotional support animal letters may be available to qualifying patients following a clinical evaluation. Eligibility and documentation are determined by the provider based on individual clinical circumstances. An additional fee may apply.

Is an emotional support animal letter guaranteed?

No. Letters are provided only when clinically appropriate following an evaluation. Requesting or paying for an appointment does not guarantee that a letter will be issued.
