Medication management
Informed choices.
Ongoing conversation.
If medication is part of your care, understanding the plan matters as much as starting it.
Could medication management be relevant to you?
This service may be helpful if you are considering medication or want a review of an existing psychiatric medication plan. Eduward will first assess whether the practice and treatment options fit your needs.
What you can discuss.
Bring questions about what a medication is intended to help with, possible side effects, interactions, alternatives, and what to watch for. Share your current medications and supplements through the patient portal when requested.
Why follow-up matters.
Follow-ups let you discuss changes, concerns, and how treatment fits your life. Eduward may recommend continuing, adjusting, or reconsidering a plan based on your situation. Do not change or stop a prescribed medication without discussing it with your treating clinician. Contact the office about refill procedures before you run out.
Your provider. Your next step.
Care is provided by Eduward Grandes, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Conversations are available in English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish.
ADHD assessment, testing, and treatment.
A clinical assessment brings together your concerns, health history, and day-to-day experiences. QbCheck is a separate assessment used alongside that conversation. Treatment recommendations depend on the whole evaluation; neither an appointment nor testing guarantees medication.
ADHD evaluation: our practice policy
As part of the ADHD diagnostic evaluation at Radiant Minds Psychiatry, patients are required to complete a QbCheck assessment. The assessment has a separate $250 fee, which is not covered by insurance.
QbCheck results are considered alongside your clinical evaluation and health history. The test alone does not establish an ADHD diagnosis.
This is this practice’s requirement for an ADHD diagnostic evaluation, not a requirement for every psychiatric appointment or every ADHD evaluation elsewhere. The testing fee is additional to appointment fees. If you use insurance for your appointment, your appointment cost depends on your coverage; the self-pay rate does not automatically apply.
